Just so there's no confusion, petrolatum and petroleum jelly are the same exact thing! Other names for petrolatum include soft paraffin and of course the generised trademark (like when we call cotton swabs "Q-tips" and in-skates "Rollerblades" instead), good ol' vaseline! No matter what you call it, it's not at all good for the growth of your hair. It's clogging!
