If there's one thing I hate about vitamins, it has to be swallowing them. Honestly, I hate having to pull out a bottle of water to chug down a pill. I kept telling myself that there has to be something better and when I went grocery shopping, I found my answer. Ensure! This little baby has: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, and Copper. The best part has to be the fact that it tastes like a milkshake. It comes in different flavors like Banana Cream, Coffee Latte, and of course Homemade Vanilla which I love. It's lactose free by the way.
*UPDATE*
As much as I love Ensure, I won't be drinking it too often. I was breaking out after a week of drinking a bottle daily. Just my luck. I hate Biotin.

When I was younger, I used to use it for gaining weight! I was like 95 lbs in my 9th grade year of high school and gained 20 lbs by the next year. But thanks for reminding me. I think it has like 250 calories in each bottle, but I only drink one a day for now. Either way, it's for a short time since I'm not to fond on the fact it has Biotin.

Just like you, I simply cannot stand pills. However, when pregnant with my first child, I discovered Viactiv vitamin chews. Three kids later, I still take them. I take 2 calcium chews and 1 multivitamin chew most days a week. They are chocolatey (though there is the caramel flavor).
They are a little expensive if you ask me, but, I rather take them then gag on pills, anyday.

For those of you who used it to gain weight, how frequently did you drink it?

When you said you gain weight, was it like a fatty tummy area or was it just filled out in the rigth places.

I've been using Alive Multivitamin Protein Shake and it works really good. Couple that with a prenatal everyday and flaxseed in my oatmeal and it's a winning combination. I've noticed a little hair growth, I had thinning due to birth control pills. Also eating healthy works. I eat alot more now than I had, I had a little bit of an eating disorder for 2 years and a hormonal imbalance due to the eating disorder. Hope this helps someone out.

I love Ensure. It works great with my busy schedule. I can drink it during my morning commute to work with one hand! lol I recently switched to Slimfast because it has less fat and calories, but still tastes great! Just make sure you drink it cold. - S. Simon
