Hey, guys! For those who e-mailed me about my regimen, here it is! I thought it be easier than e-mailing everyone individually. LOL. I know, I'm being lazy.

  • Shampoo once a week with Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Detangling Shampoo.
  • Deep condition with Organic Root Stimulator Replenishing Conditioner twice a week.
  • Co-wash frequently with Suave Tropical Conditioner or Aussie 3 Minute Miracle DEEEP Conditioner (diluted with water).
  • Moisturize with Kids Organic Shea Butter Detangling Lotion or Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer nightly.
  • Detangle after DC'ing with Jilbere Shower Comb.
  • Air dry after every wash; No excuses.

This is my regimen and I'm sticking to it! A few things I almost neglected to put is that I use plastic caps, I do protective styles daily, I tie my hair with a satin scarf before I go to sleep, and I drink only water. Because of all this, my hair has been growing. I hope this helps!

Thanks for posting this! I'm just starting my hair journey and I wanted to know how you keep your hair from getting frizzy and poofy when you air dry?

To keep your hair from frizzing up, I suggest using a good moisturizer or an anti-frizz serum like Fantasia IC Heat Protector. :)

i love your hair and this blog which I visit daily!!! Thanks for posting your regimen. Does the CON leave a white film in your hair? It was leaving some in my hair so I know use keracare. Loved CON but that film was gross. Also I have 4b course hair to and how often do you do protein treatments and which product do you use? Thanks and be blessed!

Actually I don't do protein treatments. My hair doesn't agree with intense protein treatments so what I do is DC with ORS Replenishing Pak weekly to give my hair some protein. :)

Oh, I almost forgot! When I use my CON shampoo, I make sure I let the water run through my hair for about a minute after rinsing out the shampoo.

Sounds like heat damage to me. If your hair is still straight in some areas for this long, it's most likely heat damage. Proper conditioning is a must when heat damage is in the picture. Try deep conditioning twice a week for the next couple of weeks to help the damage. I hope this helps.
