Here's the latest video. It's about detangling while stretching your relaxer.
The volume is all effed up for a lot of people so here's what I did:
- Moisturized my hair completely with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration diluted with water.
- I split my hair in two and then in about four sections on the first half of my head.
- Starting with the first section, I spritz the new growth with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration diluted with water.
- I comb from ends to roots with the Jilbere comb until it's completely detangled.
- I repeat the same process with the remaining sections.
- After my hair is completely detangled, I braid my hair in two plaits and seal with my African shea butter.
- I clip the braids up and put on a scarf before I go to sleep.

This is exactly the video I need right now. I haven't relaxed since sometime in May and my new growth is like "whoa!" lol
Every time I try to comb through it I feel like I'm breaking all of my hair off.
Next time I wash I will definitely try your steps. Thanks girl!

How often do you detangle your hair likr this? And do you find it's best to detangle before washing, during or after?
Thanks...sorry for all the questions but I'm transitioning and our hair type seems pretty similar =]
