I've been stretching for about three months now but it feels more like six since my last relaxer reverted a week later! Anyway, I'm realizing that my hair feels much better without the use of shampoo. Co-washing leaves my new growth soft and supple, while shampooing and then conditioning leaves it a little dry. So, for the next few months, I will test out the "no-shampoo" method. I will only use cleansing creams, conditioners, and water & baking soda. I'll keep you guys updated on how my hair turns out! And if anyone cares to join me for this experiment, here's a list of alternate cleansers:
Well, wish me luck everyone! And if anyone has tried -- or will try -- this method, let me know how it turned out!
- CURLS™ Curlicious Curls Cleansing Cream

- Aubrey Organics Island Naturals Shampoo
(has no sulfates so I'm using it too)

- Any conditioner of your choice with a dash of baking soda
