According to MPB Research, Emu oil has been proven to help grow hair in the frontal area (the edges) far better than topical treatments such as Rogaine and Propecia. I've been using Emu Oil for a few weeks now and I'm loving the results.

I love this blog!! It's just a wealth of information! I will be on the lookout for some emu oil whenever I go to Whole Foods.

Hi Belle Cheveaux,

How exactly are you using the emu oil?

I purchased some a while back and pour just a little in my homemade herb infused oil recipe but haven't noticed any significant results.

Should I use it straight from the bottle and apply it directly to thin spots?

Thanks,

Kinky Rhonnie, I use the oil directly on my edges at night. I say try it straight.

You can buy it from any health food store like Whole Foods. I got mine at a place called Nutrition S'Mart for about $13.
