Hi, I like your blog and enjoy reading your posts. I just wish to share my knowledge here:
Other than using products, hair loss can be helped by performing transplantation. Hair transplantation for the longest time has been viewed as the “final frontier” when it comes to remedying scalps that have given up. However, an innovative new approach in hair surgery has allowed surgeons to give patients a better experience, and better results.
More information can be found here: Discover the New Innovative Approach in Hair Transplantation
Hope my contribution is valued to you.
ENJOY!! :)

Hey Belle!
I just happened to google your post while looking for reviews on Diva Smooth. Have you tried it yet? Does it work? I am dying to know. I am in transition and want to leave the chemicals alone for good. I look forward to your update!!!

Hey Lisa! I did try it and it was okay. It softened up my hair, but it didn't really help when it came to straightening. I prefer the Mizani Thermasmooth line over Diva Smooth. Diva Smooth would make a great pre-poo treatment though :)

This is an excellent, excellent pre-poo. I don't know about the straightening because I do not use heat on my hair at all. But this will be my pre-poo every 2 - 4 weeks or so for the rest of my hair journey. :)

This is a great product. I've used it on my daughters. I just can't stand the long waiting period for delivery. I ordered 9 days ago and it still has not been shipped yet. Does anyone know of a product similar to Diva Smooth?

Thank you Pamela for sharing your awaiting diva smooth shipment. I ordered my diva smooth on 2/19 and still have yet to receive it. Please let me know if you received your shipment and your feedback on the product.
Thank you very much for your response.

Hello Ladies. I ordered Diva Smooth on 2/28/10 and have not received my shipment either. I think I will be trying another product that is more easily accessible in the future. I am hoping Diva Smooth is worth the wait. I am 2 monts pregnant and really do not want to put a relaxer in my hair.

It's me again! I ordered Diva Smooth on 2/28/10 and received it on 3/24/10.
So I tried it...a bit sticky but I could notice a change in my hair. I did not blow dry my hair but let it air dry overnight. Today I flat ironed my hair and it looks so nice! It's shiney and healthy looking. Although I will not be ordering Diva Smooth again because of the long delivery time...I would recommend it to others. I think I'll try to find the ingredients and make my own Diva Smooth at home. It's basically honey and other oils.
Good luck ladies.

Has anyone tried those Brazilian treatments? I'm curious. Also, how well does the Mizani Thermasmooth work while transitioning?
Thanks!

Any of the brazilain treatments, thermasmooth, keratine, etc are really cutsie and catchy names for chemicals, either less or milder than an actual permanent relaxer. Just look at the ingredients. If you don't want to be natural anymore than that's the way to go. They you might as well just slap a perm on your head and reapply about every 2 months and then you'll have the same effect. But if you want healthy NATURAL versatile hair, then Janelle Beauty is the way to go. They have the ONLY ORGANIC straightening agent called Diva Smooth.
Next point...Now there are many who know how to apply permanent relaxers, whether you are a professional, mom, student, teenager, etc. But the actual skill is from the professionals or who have been trained. This is why you see professionally done hair that is much noticable than kitchen done hair. My overall point is that Thermasmooth and Mazani have chemicals. Any many of you all who blog like crazy to find out about the best products to use during your natural hair journey should know by now that that is not the way to go. There will be many products marketed to attract your interest but YOU must be smart to say NO to CHEMICALS, whether it is just a little bit or a few.
I'm a stylist and it is without a doubt that I can easily provide perms, and make even more money offering Keratine treatments, but the long-term effects on their hair is devastating and I truly care about my clients.
Once I've introduced them to Diva Smooth, they thank me with the kindness of their hearts and I am happy to do healthy hair and not dead fried hair with chemicals.
I hope this helps ladies! Whatever you do, if you don't use Diva Smooth, please research the ingredients and make sure there are no chemicals in the product of your choice!

I've been natural for over 10 years, but I've beeen flat ironing and weaving for most of that time. I can't stand the amount of time and effort natural hair takes...im NEVER happy with the shrinkage and can't stand to over product my hair.."stretching, shingling, wetting, twisting, rolling, plopping," it's all too much!
In reference to the comment above, I got a BKT two weeks ago, and that mess just washed right out of my hair! Yup..lasted two week...check out my before and after pics below.. So I have to say, it was NOTHING like a relaxer. SMELLED like candy, didn't irritate and my hair was sooo soft and shiny after. my mother in law got one last year, and LOVED LOVED LOVED it. hers lasted a year. I actually got mine for free because I was a hair model. I liked the fact that the one they did on my hair didn't do anything but stretch out my curl a little bit. She only used two ounces, so I think that was her mistake. I know others who have gotten "straighter" results," but if you think it's like a relaxer you're ill-informed. I'm not advocating that anyone should do it, but i do have to say do your research and find out which brand of product is best for you. If I could get it done for free again, I would. In the meantime, I might try this diva smooth to help elongate my curls. I tried henna last week and it didn't do anything. Gonna try the coconut milk and lime treatment tonight. wish me luck :)

I am a salon model for diva smooth, and i just wanna say it's awesome. and as for the ingrediends, well i had Diva herself do it, and we actually ate some on crackers! i am t 13 and have been doing relaxers since i was 6. this doens't burn, and it WORKS! i do mine whenever my hair looks less shiny, and some people do the mevery day. there is no way you can go wrong with this. but MAKE SURE YOU BLOW DRY IT AND STRAIGHTEN IT!!! i hav modeled both ways, and it looks by far better like that. i am not promoting this because i am a model, but because it works. i NEVER eve Model things i don't likem and i totally love Diva as a person and a friend. And her product is to DIE for. Hope this helps! Love Sarah

I beg to differ about Diva Smooth. After wasting my time (and money)with a sticky mess TWICE, I will never buy it again. Not only does it NOT smooth/straighten my hair any more than when I flat iron without it, it took them forever to ship my product and their service is poor.

I have very coarse fine hair and on a relaxer stretch. I ordered diva smooth 7/01/10, Since I've read the reviews here I'm now concerned about timeframe for shipment. Will return to give update on my experience.

I ordered Diva Smooth back in March and I had no trouble getting my order in a reasonable time, but I have been crying EVERYDAY since using this product. My semi-straight hair has never been the same. First of all, I lost a lot of hair using this product and now I have a permanent 1970's afro because my hair rolls up really tight on my head and I can't get it straight for anything!! I am so hurt that this has happened. It is not even a pretty afro, it is just nappy and unmanageble. Most times I can't even comb it, it is hard and dry and it just looks bad, especially after a day of sweating at work. I have asked them for assistance, but all I get is to use the product again. NEVER!! Can somebody please tell me how to reverse this strange process and get my hair at least semi straight again? I had natural hair before using Diva Smooth, not a perm.

I posted a comment on 7/08/10 @ 3:02am. I am giving an update on my experience with the Diva Smooth, I didnt have a problem recieving my order I have used the product twice once before a relaxer and once after a relaxer. Before the relaxer my hair was smoother and softer but my hair is so coarse it last but 2 days, after the realxer my hair was softer and smoother but it doesnt get my hair any straighter then da norm using a flat iron. the product did make it smother when I flat iron my hair. What i like the most about is the cocunut oil serum, you dont have to use a lot.
