It's been five months since my big chop. I don't know why, but I noticed that my hair looks to be a few different colors. It's reddish and light brown looking sometimes.
Positives
The 'fro is getting bigger.
My hair defines more.
Finger-styling simplifies my life.
I'm loving natural products!
Negatives
The ends of my hair can tangle if I manipulate it too much.
Growth
I'm nearing 4.5" in the tighter areas and 6" in the looser parts.

Your different hair color is probably a result of it being very porouse. You can do a treatment using Porosity Control and you should notice a difference in manageability and color tone. The reddish brown color is an indicator of hairs porosity -- unless you are truly a natural "dirty red" or sandy brown undertones.

Wow, your hair grows so fast. We BCed around the same time and I'm nowhere near where you are. What are you doing that I'm not doing lol! Seriously though, what are you doing...

@Nessa All I've been doing is co-washing frequently, washing & deep conditioning weekly. My last relaxer was October 2008 so that could be the reason for the difference. Hope this helps!
