That's a very good question. According to Anthony Morrocco, there are actually certain days in the year where you can trim/dust your hair to achieve longer, thicker, stronger, and more beautiful hair. The theory is that the Moon sends energy to our bodies during these days causing a reaction. So, I have decided, just for fun, to see if it actually works. I dusted my ends on July 11 and I'll show you the results in two months. Anyway, for more on the method and dates go to: http://www.morroccomethod.com/lunar.shtml

yeah...my mom and i used to do this, but like...keeping up with the phases of the moon to know when to cut becomes a hassle at times...i mean, what if you miss the phase you need? you know? hahah

I've been hoping to get back on lunar cycle. Growing up in the islands my mother had a copy of The Farmers Almanac, and she trimmed my ends religously to the moons placement. My hair was always thick and full growing up and was down my back in high school. SO I say it WORKS! I need to get back on it.
