Tool Name: Corioliss Pro Flat Iron
Price Range: $124.99-$199.99
Company: Misikko (http://www.misikko.com/)
Catch Phrase: Tourmaline treated ceramic plates for maximum negative ions and hair-healthy far infrared heat, creating ultra-shiny, frizz-free results; 1” plate size for easy styling of short to medium length hair; Straighten, flip or curl; Nano silver treated for hygiene - kills bacteria; 410°F - great for curly, coarse or ethnic hair types; Heats up in less than 6 seconds.
What I Say: After anxiously waiting, I finally got my flat iron today! I let my hair air dry and then proceeded to straighten my hair. I curled the ends and felt my hair. Soft! I also tried the flat iron on my sister, who is completely natural, and her hair was just WOW! The pictures are below.
Tool Tip: Use a heat protectant and only pass the flat iron once through a piece of hair!

Oh my gosh, I don't know where I have been. I'm so glad to have come across this site...
since in the past i've fried my hair with all the heat i could think of, this is an interest read to know that there is something out there if i choose to wear my hair pressed for a day or two.
now the price range is a little too much for me.... i'm off to lurk around here...

My sister is a 4a type.

I might not use flat irons often, but when I do, I am a happy camper.

Oooooo I hope that your sis does not use heat on her hair too often. I ended up cutting off my lovely natural locks due to heat ruining my curl pattern. I blogged about it a while ago here:
