With all the products out there that have extracts, oils, and other hoopla in them, I thought it would be better to just list popular natural things that you can add to your hair care products for a more happier experience.

Nettle
improves the circulatory system, strengthens the hair, stimulates the scalp, and is an excellent source of silica

Panthenol
adds elasticity in the hair while also thickening the diameter of the individual strand

Safflower oil
has moisturizing properties and is a great source of EFAs

Apple seed & Grape seed extract
both assist in the regeneration of new cells

Cayenne pepper
a stimulant that improves circulation and the oxygen levels of the scalp

Basil
a strong anti-bacterial mint that has soothing properties

Safflower Oil is my staple sealing oil!

I also use Nettle in my mo' grow oil... post on my blog coming soon.

The apple and grape extract sound very, very promising. Interesting!

Funny thing, the Mo' Grow oil is one of the healthy hair recipes I plan to post. But grape seed extract is great. I bought some yesterday night.

@ Sunshyne -- Yep! I hardly use Olive Oil anymore. And I decided Macademia Nut Oil wasn't worth the fuss. Safflower Oil is so light but does the trick.

@ Belle cheveuz - The Mo' Grow Oil is very healthy and so simple! (Well, depending on how you make your oil.) I started it last week and plan to post in a few once I see / don't see some results.

Do you have you own Mo' Grow Concoction? I tweaked mine from what was posted on the web. I can't wait to see what you post. =)

I plan to buy the ingredients tomorrow and follow the original recipe. I also plan to try the MoeSheaAloe recipe that Moe created. Her hair is phenomenal!

I used Nettle Extract (alcohol free) that I brought from iHerb.com. Great site for buying natural products.

Coconut is the best for me. Although I am open to try anything for great hair!
