I recently bought the Jamaican Mango and Lime locking gel to do my two strand twist with.

I love it because it gives you beautiful definition and leaves the hair soft....at first.

I disliked that at the end of the day, the softness was absent and my hair felt uber dry.

I also disliked that it stained my hands and nails an orange color.

The product seems to do best alone on damp or wet hair.

Its way too soon to write it off...I'm going to find something to counteract the dryness, I may add glycerin and coconut oil to my hair after I unravel my twists. I give it four stars. :)

I tried Carol's Daughter Hair Milk and it was pretty decent actually. I wouldn't buy it again though since there are so many better products out there.

Now, I did love my new jar of Miss Jessie's Buttercreme. That ish is the best!

My last purchase was a bottle of Moroccan oil. Not cheap but lasts a long time. I use it right after washing and that's it. Scent that other people comment on but I can't smell it. Makes my hair soft!

My last hair product bought that I LOVE is Elasta QP Mango butter. This is a staple of mine and works as a GREAT moisturizer for my hair. No matter what I'm putting in my hair, I always end up adding the mango butter in as it defines my curls, makes them pop, maintains my style for days if I want it to, and smells great!
I don't know that it aids in decreasing breakage or anything of the sort, but I just love the added moisture it provides.

My boyfriend bought me the leave-in and deep conditioners from Mixed chicks last month and I am in LOVE! The leave in makes my hair very shiny and somewhat soft, and the deep conditioner is great-smelling, and leaves my hair fabulously soft. When ever I use the deep conditioners, I cant stop touching my hair, and even ask other people to touch it to! I will gladly shell out the extra cash to buy both products again in the future!

I bought the Aveeno Nourishing Leave-In treatment. I am completely shocked at how well this performs in my hair. My hair instantly softens and detangling is so much easier. My hair feels soft but strong. This also works very well on dry hair to re-moisturize and set curls. I also tried the Nioxin Bliss leave-in spray. Although it detangled nicely, my hair was very dry and dull the next day. Nothing I tried would bring back the shine. Definitely not a keeper!

I have relaxed thick hair. I recently purchased Mizani's Moisturefusion Shampoo and Conditioner and Redken's Real Control Leave-In Conditioner, and my hair has never felt so soft, shiny, and manageable. It has also cut down on my hair shedding (the leave in has shea butter and the conditioner has coconut oil). These are definitely keepers for me.

I sampled a Phytospecific shampoo, hair intelligience I believe from Sephora, because I am trying to go no paraben/sulfates on all hair and body washes. I did not like the way my hair felt or the smell. I had also felt it time to delve into some Carol's Daughter, so I got the Black Vanilla shampoo, love the scent and it could make the line up as a regular.
