I got this conditioner along with the GPB. After rinsing my hair with baking soda and water, I DC'ed with the GPB and followed with the Honeysuckle Rose... my hair felt rough to the touch. A few days later, I tried the Honeysuckle by itself and my hair felt incredibly soft. The GPB made my hair strong so the Honeysuckle didn't really do much. But by itself, it's awesome. Try it for yourself! Has anybody tried it? Share your experiences!

I agree with Kinky Rhonnie - AOHSR is an absolute fave! I've found that for me, it works best when I put it on dry hair and get under the dryer, but it still works great on wet hair.
This was actually the first product that became a "staple" in my hair regimen... and I've just been put onto GPB for mild protein treatments as well :)

Help me ladies - I just HAD to come accoss this post. This has been on my radar for so long but since I already have a huge box FULL of various conditioners I really should wait until I've used some of them up (trying to resist the urge to slurge)

I tried the HSR transitioning and after BC and it left my hair was soooo soft, BUT it gave me no slip whatsover. My hair was never TWA short when I used it; I transitioned from shoulder-length permed hair to 5 inches after the BC so I couldn't use it on it's own anymore. :o( It was great added into my Trader Joe's nourish spa, though!
Oh, and the GPB left my hair crispety-crunchy! Most protein conditioners do that to my hair.

@Karin BC: Big-chop (as in cutting off all chemically processed hair and going natural)
DC: Deep condition
GPB: Short for Aubrey Organics Glycogen Protein Balancing Conditioner
Let me know if you have any more questions, I'll be happy to help!
